My Aussie is 12 almost 13. She has been blind for about 2 yrs and now she is going deaf but still gets around pretty well even in a new house. She is healthy other then those two things but I wonder daily how she is coping with being blind and deaf. I hope she is still happy and she seems to be but she does just lay around and sleep a lot more now.

Good looking dog! Mixed with something besides Shepard? LOL I adopted him off the Texas Fishing Forum when he was a year old. People were always saying he looked like he had some wolf in him. For my wife's Christmas present when he was 4 I got his DNA test. Came back 100% German Shepherd

I am a year and two months into my first German Shepherd. Of all the dogs I've had, I must say he is my favorite.
