Book of the twentieth century. Read it a couple of times. Given the book to a few friends. Watched the movie more than once. Movie follows the book as well as any I've ever seen. It's on TCM tonight at 7:00. Might want to take a peek.

My daughter's middle name is Scout.
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

This one is over $1,000. We had one that cost under $50.

Robert Duvall's first movie appearance great movie. I have never seen a bad Gregory Peck movie

Harper Lee passed not too long ago. Off topic, but relevant; When it gets dry out, and my tomatoes start turning red, the mockingbirds wreak havoc on them. Atticus and I may have to agree to disagree.....lol.
I know, they are protected...

I haven't read the book but the movie is great. Haven't read the book either. Has anyone here read Harper Lee's first book, Go Set a Watchman, that this story sort of derived from?

I’m a little disappointed.
I thought this thread would be about a rule change that allowed us to exterminate the noisy little pests

It isn’t in the same league as TKAM. I obviously can’t verify when HL wrote it but it wasn’t published until after her death and is set when Scout is a grown woman. Again, doesn’t hold a candle to TKAM.
