Forget it. Ever been near the water in the winter? Ruidoso would be a good location, rent kayaks and bicycles in the summer to the Texas tourists, and then in the winter ski gear and apparel.

Forget it. Ever been near the water in the winter? Winner! I drive all around Lake Fork off and on 365 days a year. I have seen places where fortunes were invested based on a dream gig---that are vacant. It is really sad!

Who owns Lake Belton?
I ask this because if you tried something like that on Lake Ray Hubbard, the City of Dallas will shut you down until you file permits and pay them, then start paying them taxes.

About 15 years ago a guy was renting kayaks in Waco downtown on the river. He didn't do very well and ended up closing. Another company now rents kayaks and paddle boards about the same location and looks to be doing very good. If you could get the Corps of Engineers to agree it might be a good summer weekend business.

Forget it. Ever been near the water in the winter? As often as possible since I started duck hunting.

foget it, u screwed The paddling community will feel the pain of tariffs in many ways. Imported paddles, kayaks and boats will take a direct hit as prices are passed along the supply chain to the consumer. There is no doubt that a 25% price increase will slow demand and hurt sales. Paddlesports have long been a way for the middle class to enjoy the outdoors on a reasonable budget, but most middle class families can’t just ignore a 25% price increase on a leisure item. https://paddling.com/learn/tariffs-set-to-hit-paddlesports-hard/
