Just before that bridge is a drop-off that will make you heart jump.

It varies a lot, depending on the pace you set. They say to allow 6-8, round trip. We did it right at 4, with no water. We made a challenge out of it, allowing for a couple breaks to enjoy the sights. My conditioning isn’t great, but I can push pretty hard at a slow but steady pace. If I were in better shape, 3 hours wouldn’t be difficult, without stopping to enjoy the views. I’ll be going back, and I’ll whittle away at my time as my conditioning improves. I also plan on increasing the challenge, like doing it twice in a day, or with a weighted pack.

For someone in decent shape, that isn’t out to set any goals, I’d say 6 hours, minimum. Start early in the morning, too, when the weather is warm. That’ll make a big difference. We saw some rather portly people going up, midday, as we were coming down. I suspect they didn’t see the top, that day.
