Well I’m embarrassed to say this but I will. I must be too busy cooking Hello Fresh recipes. I have never heard of, or at least it doesn’t ring a bell with me, but Head Countey BBQ sauce. I’ll google it and give it a try. I don’t do a lot of BBQ grilling or smoking yet. I grew up with Dad running both and I’ve just never picked it up seriously since he passed. Thank for the “Heads” Up!

yep, I grew up on all our BBQ sauce was homemade and wasn't sweet. pretty much a mixture of oil, vinegar, tomato sauce, lemon & orange juice, a touch of Worcestershire sauce, salt & black pepper ... maybe a little tomato paste to thicken if needed. My wife prefers sweet, so when I am making homemade, I separate some off, add brown sugar and honey for her.

Head Country for most things here also. I also use HEB brand Texas Specialty BBQ sauce on beef and steaks. I got a bottle for free and was very surprised how good it is. It has a nice black pepper kick. I got the free bottle of HEB specialty sauce also and was pleasantly surprised.

Us too, but for me it needs to be heated onto the meat and get sticky to be good. Straight out of the bottle it's not that much better than the others.
