I know it wasn't a bobcat, but it reminded of the story about the cowboy who roped one.

His pardner: "Need help tying him up?"
Him: "Oh Hell no, I need help letting him go!"

Or the Jerry Clower punchline, when asked if he should shoot the man or the bobcat. "Naaaw!!! Just shoot in here amongst us! One of us has got to get some relief!"

^^^^ I think in that story (IIRC) it was a 'Lynx' (or as Clower's describes....a "Souped up Bobcat", but yeah...one of them needed some relief. wink
