yep, a 12v compressor has been a life saver on tractors over the years. I have a couple of them (one in truck and one in my RTV).

I don’t use the plug kit much, but it does come in handy sometimes. Mostly I use that much maligned “green stuff”. Though it won’t seal a sidewall, stem, or bead leak.
I have found that today’s tires for ATVs and side by sides are much tougher than the tires of 10 years ago.

I had the same problem with mine. The bead was not seating. Take the wheel off, put a few pounds of air in the tire, and bounce the wheel/tire like a ball, rotating between bounces. Put sealant in tire, air up to specs, and you should be good to go. If it's the bead, just air it up and drive it around for a few minutes. If that doesn't seat it nothing will, given that it's not a new tire. True...granted mine was a newer tire.

We got it all figured out. The Winter air was pulling too much blinker fluid from the canooder valve, causing pressure differences in the humdinger doohickey chingaderra. All this affected the silly whopper levels.
