I have one of the ASF 400lb feeders for my pig feeder. $300 but had to buy the battery and solar panel. Almost a year and no problems. Yes, it is light so I wouldn't let it go empty. I've got 3 t-posts securing it.

Thanks everyone! Likely grabbing one if they are available. Just a friendly reminder...they keep the timers inside the store, not inside the feeders. Don't forget to ask for one when you buy it.

Well crud. I grabbed one today while driving through Temple. There is a small flat box inside that said timer...but I didn’t open it. Will have to double check later. Hoping I don’t have to drive back.

Hopefully it's in there! Both I've bought had the timers inside the store, I guess to keep from getting stolen. Maybe sometimes they leave them in the feeder.

The timer was in there. I still need to get it set up. Hopefully it’s not too complicated.

Mine has been in the field since March of 2019. Battery has not been out since original charge, and checked this past week and it still reads full, so I guess solar charger doing its job. It has held up to the pigs well and no problem from the cows either. I am about to buy another to replace an old feeder that I have to climb a ladder to fill - the stand and fill is much more convenient!

Still think these are the best feeders for the price around. I broke down and bought another last week and set it up over this past weekend. So far, the original has worked flawlessly, even with the cows and hogs around. Hoping the new one will serve just as well.

The new Game Winner 720lb heavy duty feeder are only $49 more and hold more corn, have a protected motor and skids with room for rebar stakes. I have cows, horses and pigs and have had zero issues. Highly reccomend and the thing throws corn like 10-15 feet out.

Yes, the square container interlocks and breaks down to make for easy travel. The whole setup took me 5min and requires zero tools. I drove 8 18in rebar stakes at the corner of each leg since there are hoops built in for that. Solar panel is flush and timer has three settings. Lid is slanted to shed rain and feet are skid style

Lets see how that Game Winner last compared to the galvanized EZ Feeder, plus I doubt there is any support if there is an issue. Good luck with your feeder though and I mean that with all sincerity.

I considered both the EZ Feeder & Game Winner for a while. I went with EZF because I could load it in the truck, unload it from the truck and fill it....no assembly and its a single piece container so no leaks or caulking. Just seems like it will last longer for roughly the same $$

I hope Game Winner upped their quality since their first 600 pound 6 volt model. Those first models had very cheap motors with cheap spinner plates.
Also check the butt connectors at the motor as they are almost always loose from the store.

I do like Bucees and that was not meant to bash them, but since you decided to ask I really do wish that they had a better customer service/return policy. I feel that good customer service is taking care of the customer that has purchased from you, not the manufacturer. Its good to get the customer back out in the field as quick as possible, that is one thing that Academy is good at. If you buy something at Bucees, don't try to contact them or take the product back to them, its just not going to happen. I still go in there but when I buy something I'm ready to accept the fact that if I have an issue I call the manufacturer.

Happened to me this weekend at the farm on the Academy feeder. Connectors had just worked loose.
