Had a truck and two guys in our NE corner on our side of the fence. They were gone when BP got there.

Chains on gates are being cut and replaced with bad guy's locks, high-fences cut and mended after they pass to keep from attracting attention. Illegal traffic is at an all-time high. BP calls that area "exotic" because they're catching mostly OTMs. Bangladeshi, Somali, Algerian, Yemeni, Syrian, Chechen mixed in with folks from S of the border. They've caught 530+ in our little slice of heaven over the last month.

Our Border Patrol are some of the baddest hombres I've met. They love their jobs and perform fearlessly. In super harsh conditions. I'll take a few of them into battle with ANY adversary!

530? dang. I thought the 55 they got over 3 days off our pasture was bad.

I will add to this. Yes they are bad to the bone. We offered to let them stay at our camp or even leave a BP truck parked there full time. They do not get as much credit as they should especially how dangerous it can be.

When I was there, the first group of people they caught (14) included young women as well as older. One of the officers had been assaulted by one of the men. I cannot count how many times we have gotten up in the morning to go out for a hunt to see new footprints on top of yours from the night before. Or even around your deer blind

I have never seen it as bad as I did this year. Talking to the ranch manager, he said we happened to be in the highest traffic area on the ranch.

In person, only twice. Signs of them being there? All the time 10 years ago, but those were simply walkers looking for a dry place to sleep. The coyotes leading these groups now days avoid stands and feeders because they know there are cameras around these areas. We did find some mex porn print and baby socks in a blind a couple years ago. I can only imagine. confused2

ijohnston, your 55 + 80 next door to us were part of that 30 day count. After BP left us Saturday they were hauling arse back to the Callaghan on another call.

But fences are not helpful...........

(Oh no! I just started a high fence/low fence thread!)

A Democracy is when two wolves and a lamb vote on the dinner menu. That is why this country was specifically not designed as a Democracy. We are a Constitutional Republic.
