No sir it was Alegiant Rifleworks. Been very pleased with their work. Kyle no issues carrying concealed with the magwell. I use a Bladetech IWB/appendix. Jason, Wade thank you fellas. Wade your welcome to borrow this. We might make a Glock believer out of you yet! giggle
wink

Thank you, I've been thinking of upgrading my magwell and getting stippling work done on my 19 think you just put me over the edge LOL.

Lord I only have 1 2 semi auto pistol, but it is a glock. I bought it for the functional reputation it has. I think it shoots great, probably the best shooting I have ever done with a pistol. Mine looks like it did when It came out of the glock case though other than a little wear mark.

scratch that I have a buckmark now too.

There. I said it. Now both the Glock fanboys and 1911 diehards will crucify me.

It takes lots of training to develop muscle memory to do it without fail.

The angle isn't there solely for recoil, but to control the flyweight frame while that big hunk of metal up top runs back and forth. That makes them great for carrying without cleaning; which is where a Glock excels.

I think it's funny there's a contest between Glock and 1911 when both are, uh, classics.

I’ve got a lot of rounds through a lot of different pistols. I can switch from a Glock to a 2011 to an XD to a 1911 with very little remedial training, if any.

The point I am making is quite often you read “that 1911 just doesn’t fit my hand” or “that Glock grip angle just isn’t right, so I bought this M&P” when in reality most people won’t shoot enough to ever realize a difference on frame dimensions or angles of grips.

The difference is most important for the least training. You can train to overcome the Glock flaws and do very well. The people you are referring to won't do that, so they need all the help they can get by starting out with a pistol that does not have a steeper learning curve.

What learning curve? All of the plastic guns are super simple.

So the way a gun fits my hand isn’t important? My natural point of aim holding a Sig is true, holding a Glock and I’m way off. I think both are excellent weapons, I just prefer the way a Sig fits my hands.

Practice. 15 minutes of dry fire will get anybody “naturally” having the sights appear on target, with whatever gun is in question.

I spent 3 days with 1500+ rounds fired through a 19, I was no better than when I started. Did I shoot it as well as my Sig? Yes, but I was having to take my time to acquire the sights. Kept it for a year and never got comfortable enough to carry it, sold it for a P320 and it’s all good now

Wow, I have been a hater due to the Glock 27 I previously owned slipping in my sweaty hand on a hot summer day causing a painful slide bite. This caused me to hesitate when shooting that gun so I traded it as I didn't want to carry it. Never had that problem with any other pistol, and I have many. BUT.......that looks great and I believe that stippling might take care of the slipping problem which is my only with Glocks!

Dang, I think I need to start stippling grips. They charge a pretty penny for that service.

Pmags are a good one to practice on. I stippled one once. Took two and a half hours and looks like crap. That pretty well broke me from ever wanting to stipple anything.
