Just FYI, if you do not mind adding a brake to it, 300 win mag is not an issue. I have a brake on mine and it feels like my 7mm08 that has no brake. Now the win mag is also a heavier gun so that may be one of the reasons it feels like less recoil. I have literally shot 70 to 80 rounds at a time without a sore shoulder and I am 62.
LOL, The first time I shot the 30-378 I was prepared to get beat, I looked at that big case with 120 gr of powder and 150 gr bullet that charts showed at 3449 fps and figured it was going to hurt. Pretty sure I closed my eyes that first time. I was on the ground prone thinking that would be the worst position and I wanted to see how bad it was and if the scope would bite me. BANG... wow, way better than I expected, about like my 30-06 with 180's without a brake. Zeroed in with 2 more shots and the only pain was in my wallet. Neighbor came down from his cabin a couple hundred yards away because it was so loud he thought a gun blew up. Interesting to see the sonic waves when you keep your eyes open! Never shot it at a public range but I bet it would clear it out!

Unbelievably I have never had someone come up and complain to me, they may be thinking it, but not saying it.
