If at least one side is a spike, it’s a spike.

Both legal in special late season...

According to that I think my original interpretation is wrong. That verbiage describes the same way in both places. So any deer with at least one unbranched antler would be legal in the late season. Yall were right

When I started reading, I thought it was a true spike only (no unbranched antlers) After reading, it is apparent that any deer with at least one unbranched antler is legal. Good to know, heading out for the last weekend.
