I have a friends new (less than 100 rounds) m-9 that is not feeding properly. He has tried cleaning and oiling it. Different factory Ammo and bought a second new factory mag. It’s his first and only pistol. I told him I would look at it. That said I am no gunsmith. Feed ramp looks smooth. She’s olied up and clean.

The machined part of the frame “lower feed ramp” is what I will call it...... still has the factory paint on it. Before I polish it?

Any thoughts?

yep, sure, why not

Need to be a little more specific. Pictures of the hangup might help. Generally on the beretta m9s , the ammo barely touches the feed ramp, it is a pretty straight shot from the mag to the chamber

10-4 I cleaned it and lubed it. I’m going to shoot it myself and see what happens.

I thought about it a little, and i am betting he is bumping the slide lock up when firing. Just a guess

It is actually pretty tough to limp wrist a beretta 92, the frame is fairly heavy and the slide and recoil spring are fairly light. One of the reasons they shoot so nice

Every Beretta mag I've used gets the inside cleaned and lubed before use. That usually clears up any problems.

Gun shot great! Ran 200ish rounds through it. 2 different mags. 3 different shooters.
Who know what the deal was. Thanks!
