any details? Size of property? Was the deer ever seen before he was shot or any history on the deer? I noted on the Buck Ration post it stated "a ton of speculation on this deer"

Sorry but now days when a LF buck like that pops up in an area that does not normally produce deer of this size questions will be asked. I hope it is legit because he is a beautiful animal.

The area does normally produce bucks like this every year. Google last years right outside of McKinney. Lots of people live there so the hunting is limited and kept quiet because of poaching.

Nothing new for Collin Country, Some giants coming out of Collin since they opened it up.

Or black rhino finds out and buys the land out from under you

If you research a little, I am surprised the guys ever posted it on public pages. They do have a 5 year lease they said. And pics of it but the guy hunted Thanksgiving day to kill it. We have a buck killed last year that is close to it on neighbors place. He was on our place a while. Not symetrical across both beams but a freak. Luckily not Colin county but not far But plenty of big deer killed there.

that is a great buck, but i do think it would be smart for guys to keep deer like these off of public pages for many reasons listed above. congrats to the hunter!

It turned out to be a friend of mines brother in law. And I'm not even sure I know the story correctly. I've heard two 3 different locations one rumor one from brother in law and one from him. (Also turns out my brother is a sub contractor of his). So who knows where it came from but they are keeping it low rightfully so.

Typical Rockwall county daddy money business there.
