When my wife starts figuring this out I will need to hide my expenses better. I don't figure these things. My funometer might stop. Only thing I try to figure is how many days can I get out there.

If you think deer hunting is expensive try quail hunting. The guys that are eaten up with it have dogs. Lease fees, etc. You can go from boom to bust years in a heartbeat. Chicken Express is a much better value

When hunting freestone co (my main hunting spot) typically i'll spend around $75-80 depending on cost of fuel. Pretty much food and fuel for the weekend, unless I need to fill feeders. We have 6 300lb feeders out there but only fill them every 2 months or so.
Just got back from Ozona over the weekend and it was around $250 for fuel (hauled a trailer with a deer stand there and back...long story), food, and drinks. (dad picked up corn before I got there). Fuel out that way was 40 cents a gallon more than home.

Depends on which lease I'm going to. During season its about $150 (gas/food/top of feeders with corn)
I've eatin Mary's in Strawn, Smokestack in Thurber and Beehive Albany. Love all 3 for different reasons!

Solo trip with the dog, maybe $75 including fuel. Wife and kids for the weekend, $500 minimum.
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

$100 gas
$65 for groceries for both of us
$65 for bucees 10 bags of corn and a snack
$10 ate at DQ on the way home
$240 total
Saw a nice 10 pointer walk no where near the feeder at about 175 yards for about 30 seconds. Got a few "shots" of him with the camera. That was about it all weekend
Loved every second of sitting in that stand soaking up the awesome weather and beautiful country.

$100 gas

Now that I am 45 minutes door to gate and not paying for diesel anymore, I'll spend $30 in fuel including driving around.
A grocery store run for food and beer, maybe another $50. Corn-chumming ... round it up to $100.
I can't believe I used to go through a tank of diesel++++ each way multiple times a week.
