I'll be trying to draw first blood with my Bergara B14 Ridge 6.5 Creedmoor. I took it to Alaska hoping to break it in but no dice. I've trimmed the cheek pad down since this pic so it doesn't look near as ghetto. ![](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/usergals/2018/10/full-7848-166687-capture.png)

Don't have pics, but the first one I'll reach for this season is my 6.5x284 Nosler M48 topped with a 6-18x50 Swaro.
No prayer in school....What's next, no thinking in church? It's not just about pie in the sky when you die. It's also about steak on your plate while you wait!

![](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/usergals/2018/10/full-44238-166980-img_8760.jpg) Most of my hunting will be done with the rifle in this picture except now it has a Leupold Mark 5HD 5-25x56 on it. 6.5x47L shooting 143 grain ELD-X . I'll also take my Tikka 22-250 with a Burris XTR ii 3-15x50 for filling a lot of my MLD doe tags.

I'm always looking for quality lefty shooting gear.

I wouldn't want to lug that up a mountain but I'm sure it shoots straight!
