Saw corn in Buccee's in Katy today for 4.99 50 lb. bag . Local Buccee has it for 5.95 50 lb.

I'm in Texarkana and every place that has corn is at 7.50 per 50 pound bag. Been same price since last deer season. Of course Tractor supply and Academy is different as they have 40lb bags and Tractor supply even has a 37.5 lbs bag.

I can buy it at the local Brookshires distribution center for around $272.50/ton- 50-40 lb. bags on a pallet. You can determine your best value, regardless of whether it comes in a 40 or 50 lb. bag, by figuring price/lb. Sure a 50 lb. bag costs more than a 40 lb. bags, but is it the best value/lb. I am getting to the age that a 40 lb. bag is much easier to toss around than a 50 lb. bag.

The last I bought at Lyssy- Echols in Llano was 6.80 50 lb. Was surprised they had gone up so much. Two weeks ago Buccee's in New Braunfels was 5.94 per 50 lb. .

I got corn at a new place last week cant remember the price but when I got to the feeder I found that one of the paper bags had ripped when they dropped it into the truck bed and corn was everywhere, I hate the paper bagged corn.

I think it was either $7.95 or $8.95 for 50 lb bags at Tractor Supply in Jacksboro last time

hold on to your bags and return them next time for a $0.10 (dime) refund. This is where I buy about 90% of my corn, they must have gone up since I was there about a month ago, $5.40/50 lb then.

We do save all bags and return them. Bought 3,000 lbs of corn, 1,800 lbs of protein, and a couple bags each of milo and sweet feed. Will do it all again in 6-8 weeks.

Is the Buccees corn fairly clean?

Cleaner than the corn from Academy or Walmart.
