we just came from hog hunt with Justin.
Great place to hunt, plenty of hogs, challenging shots.
there were 4 of us, hunting for 2 days. result - 3 hogs down, one wounded and 2 misses, everyone had opportunities to shoot... we will be back for sure!

What dates do you have available in 2019? Are any licenses required? We will not keep the meat. Does this pose a problem? Do you have any gun restrictions (minimum or maximum cartridges)? I prefer to hunt with an open-sighted handgun and need shots within 50 yards in good light. Thanks for responding.

After action report of hunting with Woodsonhunter:
My hunting buddy and I flew in from Atlanta this past Friday to hunt with Woodsonhunter.
The stands he put us in were outstanding, very comfortable , quite and all had good chairs in them.
The distance to the feeders were between 70 to 100 yards. Perfect distance for me, I can’t stand hunting too close to a feeder.
The feeders were first class and all went off exactly when Woodsonhunter said they would.
I have some physical handicaps due to a run in with cancer and I am not the most ambulatory person in the world. Woodsonhunter put and removed all my hunting gear out of the blind for me.
We stayed in the Ridge Motel in Breckinridge about 20 miles from the ranch. Easy drive to the ranch
We did not kill any pigs, but that is the way it goes sometimes.
Woodsonhunter really felt horrible about us traveling so far and not seeing any pigs. He offered for us to come back for a free hunt because it was expensive for us to hunt with the airfare and everything. That’s the kind of guy he is.
We would never accept a free hunt from him, simply because it’s not his fault we didn’t see any pigs.... He did everything humanly possible to put us on the pigs......it just wasn’t in the cards
Will we fly back to hunt there again, you bet we will
Chuck

I went a few weeks ago with my son. Everything said above is accurate. Woodsonhunter is a great guy, helpful and seemed pretty genuine as a person. We were lucky enough to get shots at hogs every time we sat. First class place and person. My son shot his first hog in preparation for his first hunting season. He's got a good place to clean the hogs if you want to keep them. There were a few people out there dove hunting as we went on opening dove weekend. Plenty of dove flying as well. ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2019/09/full-64646-200695-levic.jpg)
