What are ya'll hunting with this year? I'm probably taking my new .243 with factory Hornday Superformance 95 SST unless the weather is bad. If it gets sloppy outside, I'll grab something with a composite stock. Probably my little 6.5 Creedmoor with Superformance 129 SST.
Haha yea I polished that thing for hours.

6.5x55 with 140 Amax around 2800. Just like you if the weather is bad I’ll change horses to a Marlin 1894 45 Colt with 300gr WFGC at about 1600 or 338-06 with 225gr hornadys loping along at 2600ish if memory serves.

308 with Hornady 165 SSTs or 6.8 with 120 SSTs. I think either should do the trick.

Depending on if I get to hunt or not.
6.5 Grendel with reloads having 129gr LRAB 6.5-284 with 130gr Nosler Accubonds. Still have enpuogh loaded for season 357 Mag Marlin with most likely LVE evolution loads.
Then again for the heck of it might break out the MS 1903 6.5X54MS

25-06 with factory 120gr soft points, drops them in their tracks so I see no reason to change....

.308, Hornady Superformance 165 gr. Has been my go to ammo for the last four years and I've had nothing but success with it. I also pulled my first deer rifle out of the safe and put it in a new stock this year. Remington 700 BDL, .243. Have you killed anything with the 95 gr. Superformance? I sighted mine in with it, gun shot great. I'll use it a few times this season. That's it in the donor stock, made in 1979.
An unethical shot is one you take, that you know you shouldn't.

Going to go 308 win this season. 16.5" varmint barrel, suppressed, shooting either 125 grain nosler accubond, or 155 something else.

I am going to take the year off and help a few others. Not saying I will not bring out the 30-06 with 150gr soft points if an opportunity arises but I am gonna focus on helping others this season.

Have you killed anything with the 95 gr. Superformance? I've killed a few deer and pigs with the 95 SST superformance out of a Browing Abolt. Great performance, good expansion. I don't hunt with it much anymore, lately have used my 300 WM shooting 180 gr SSTs from Custom Reloads of Dallas or 300 BO shooting 125 SST, also fro CRoD. I'm a fan of the SST.

Might try and take a doe with my grump's 870 ringmaster with rifled barrel and 300 Gr Hornady SST slugs. I need to try some of those once my “shoot me” box is empty. I think I have like 5 rounds left. After they’re gone, I’ll need a new load to work with. I just got super lucky and bought 2 boxes, same lot of the cheap Remy green and yellow box that 1)shoot lights out and 2)knocks em dead every time. Oh ya, if I’m lucky enough to go anywhere this year, it’s old faithful. Remy 700 in 270. She just works. Each time, every time. I sure hope to get down to Hamilton a time or two this year
