Saltgrass. 'Most watered-down drink I've ever had in my life. There used to be a guy on here that loved the place. confused2

Saltgrass has great grilled chicken and a good chicken fried steak! I think everything is pretty good other than their steaks! I haven’t ever been impressed with their steaks but pretty much everything else is good.

They have good Ranch dressing at Saltgrass. I like to dip the bread in it.

Range Rattlers are the bomb! I get two large orders every time I go, that’s all that I eat besides the bread.

Yep. Best drinks I've had are at Pappadeaux and Pappacitos.

I've had okay experiences with the one in McKinney. However, there is no way I'll wait in line for thirty or forty minutes. It's not that good by any measure.

Get the Landry's select card. Costs $25 but you get a $25 credit in the first couple days, so essentially free. Earn points, get rewards, Yadda yadda... biggest thing is priority seating. I've never waited longer than it takes to finish a beer at the bar.

Where would you pick for a weekly steak dinner? I’d love to be able to swing Del Friscos or similar weekly, but that’s not happening. Doesn’t seem like there is an in between price wise

I make steak at home. It's darn good too. If I pick a place to go out to it's for food I can't make at home.

I used to get the CFS, but it is really expensive. I like cotton patch way better. So I tried the ribeye and man was it really small and thin like somebody else mentioned. It isn't bad, but just terrible value. As silly as it sounds, I can get a better meal at Texas Roadhouse and much cheaper.

That location is officially dead to me. I enjoy Saltgrass, but that location ALWAYS has a line, the wait is always 15-20 longer than they say, we are a family of three and they will seat larger families who came after us first every single time. Saturday's dinner was a 2.5 hour ordeal and our waiter acted like he had 15 redbulls in his system. This time the food was very good, but last time they undercooked my chicken, when I returned it they brought out more undercooked chicken.
