Awesome stuff! I always enjoy your threads. How does the bottom canoe do better than the top one in rough water? Does it sit lower in the water? You should video some of your trips. I'd dang sure watch them! I'd like to see some of those crazy Northern Lights. I've ALWAYS wanted to see them in person. In fact, I'd prolly give my left, uh....big toe, to see them!

Thanks for the kind words

When I said rough water I actually meant windy conditions. Both canoes sit about the same in the water but the bottom one is 17 feet and the top one is 18 feet. One less foot to catch wind. The bottom canoe also has a keel that reduces the amount the wind can push you around. The disadvantage of a keel though is it makes the canoe slower and less responsive. Stability wise they are similar - low initial stability and high secondary stability.

Hey, thanks for answering my questions, lol. I realize I'm a couple months late in responding, but I'm not on here much anymore and sometimes I forget that I've asked someone a question. I'm always watching for your threads and still can't wait till you make some vids of your hunting experiences! Good luck!
