Looks goofy as hell on that truck, but man that is some nice metal work!

You’d be surprised how many ranchers around here use these trucks for everyday ranch work. There are several in town with their own version of a flatbed on them. Friday at the gas station we had to give two guys a walkthrough on this one and left them with business cards, I’ll be pretty surprised if we don’t build two or theee more before the years end

It's not just being on a Toyota, although that is a lot of it. I'm so used to seeing flatbeds on DRW trucks that anytime I see them on a SRW it looks goofy....

Ah I see, I would agree with that too but srw flatbeds are all over the place out here too. It took me a while to like mine but it’s grown on me big time. The functionality of a flatbed is second to none if you work off your truck too

For some reason most of the farmers around my area run srw 1 tons. You can always spot them with the flat bed and John deer compressor riding along.

SRW keeps you out of CDL territory, but farmers should be exempt from that unless they use their pickups for other stuff. Pretty much any dually hooked to any trailer with 8 lug axles is CDL required if not farm use.

I envy those who know how to weld and do it well.

Heck, I can't even solder copper pipe.
