We couldn't get a CM bed that would fit this truck, so we are taking it on from scratch. Boxes are 60" long, everything else is build as lightweight as possible while keeping the strength that we need for it.

I drew the entire tailboard up and cut it as one piece. It'll have flush mount cubes as reverse lights and the license plate and taillights are all inset.

We tilted the top half of the headache rack 10 degrees to match up to the body lines a little better. I think it turned out pretty good

Until Monday this is how she sits, it was tough to call it a day but we've got a busy weekend!

Impressive.

If the 2nd amendment was written just to include guns for hunting, why is there not an amendment to protect fishing poles?

Very nice! I have built several flatbeds and welding beds in my time and can appreciate your fabrication skills.

But for the clearance, indestructable. Great work!

No, the only reason we’re lifting the rear is bc of the leveling kit and the loads that may go on it. This flatbed isn’t going to weigh very much at all, we’re using 11 and 14 gauge tubing for everything except the frame runners.

That looks great. I have a 2011 that has turned out to be the best hunting truck I've ever owned. I bought it new, it's a daily driver for my long work commute with 225k on it. Tacomas are light, they don't sink or bury up. Keep the pic's coming.

Yesterday we got the headache rack finished up, floor and skirts welded on, and added a couple of gussets underneath and a basket at the front. Today we are adding a tailboard, hoop steps, and finishing up the floor then it will be ready to prime before getting lined tomorrow.
