ATN has had some poor products in the past and I started using them at the end of the Gen 1 X-Sight (was not that great of a scope)

The X-II was A LOT better, and this 4K Pro takes it to a whole new level.

I cannot offer to send scopes to people as that is way above my level...

BUT I can offer to have anyone who is close to Austin come check it out in person when I get a few in my possession...

This has the potential to be a fantastic optic... We will see for sure when I get it in my hands.. And hell I will even organize a range day here in Austin and get a group of people to come out and compare it to their optics..

The onus is now on ATN to demonstrate that their new products will live up to the claimed performance and reliability standards. They knowingly burned any good will with the release of the original X-Sight. For that matter, you can find posts going back years on AR15.com discussing the slovenly customer service and opportunistic behavior of ATN corporate. It's now up to ATN to EARN a new reputation by DEMONSTRATING superior quality control and excellent customer service.. Having a corporate stooge blow in once every couple months chanting "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life" doesn't count for much.

I have had them in my hands but only for a short time.. Nothing long term to really run it through the ringer. From what I have seen and experienced this is going to be a game changer... The screen and eye relief is amazing, and the clarity on zooming in is outstanding.

If it holds true to what I saw for the short time I had it in my possession it will be a must buy.

So you are pushing a product this hard that you have barely messed with and haven't even used in a practical application yet? I cant wait till about 4 months from now when all the people who bought these bottom of the barrel scopes are pissed off and complaining because they cant even get ahold of customer service.

How about SachalATN? Does he have the authority to? I mean there are two of you representing the company and the product, here. Who wants to really repair the damage ATN has done?

it’s obvious when you have to try this hard to sell something it probably isn’t that great. These types of devices speak for themselves with their performance in the field. Go on any NV/Thermal forum or FB page and ATN has a bad rep on all of them. Of coarse they have their diehard fans like JT that have prob never used a quality thermal or NV device so they don’t realize how terrible ATN is lol.

JT is still an optimist who tells it how it is and says the 4k is a game changer without having hunted it yet - ummmmmm you have zero credibility here and continue to dig deeper (not sure how that is possible but you’re special)

Sachal denies JT and VAFish a shot at reviewing the scope with no strings attached claiming to have a strong network of independent testers

Interesting I think the next few months will probably result in a decent Xsight product (finally) but the attitude of ATN continues to be hard on former customers who have valid gripes so in the end this whole thing is a wash...

you have to have customer service to have the worst customer service lol. From what I’ve read people couldn’t even get ahold of a person when calling for service.

FJG not worth the effort, I tried to help on original X sight and every suggestion to make a better product was ignored except to pull version .288. Then they stopped asking for input and rolled out version II and I never heard from them again. Mind you I never got a dime or a product from ATN I was just interested in making product better and spent hours and hours and 100s of rounds of ammo in the effort.

Yup. They had their chance. As far as I'm concerned they can be banned from THF. Not because they didn't let me review one, but because they didn't let any outsider from their circle, that is a THF member, review one. That shows me they just want to pimp it, but don't really believe in it enough to allow a third party reviewer to tell it like it is, good or bad.

Don't forget all the stupid spam posts from ATN. You know, the ones where a real THF member asks a question about a scope for shooting long range, and some idiot with zero posts says "I just recently bought my husband the ATN X-Sight for this exact purpose, and he loves it. He can even shoot through fog!".......their whole company is a scam.

Like I said if anyone is in the Austin area and wants to see these in person, or any X-Sight II or a ThoR HD 4.5x 384 or a 2.5x 640 let me know.. I will be more than happy to take you out to the range and test them out.
