Let's get a fun one started..... chassis rifles are the sh!t. They're easy to work on. Anyone can drop a barreled action into one and have a fine shooting rifle without having to bed the action. You save a few bucks since you don't have to buy bottom metal to use better mags. Adding accessories like sling attachments or rails for an Atlas bipod takes a matter of seconds, no drilling or epoxy. They are infinitely adjustable for each individual, and you can add a folding stock for cheap. Pound for pound, they really don't weigh much more than a similarly-equipped fiberglass stock.
So if you have one, here's your chance to show it off!

I’d be able to get down with Kyle’s rifle, but I can’t stand the feel of kost other chassis. I like a good fitting fiberglass stock or laminate. Yes they are more work and less adjustable/tacticool, but to me they feel better.

masterpiece arms BA-308 & swfa 5x20 ffp mil/mil illuminated not a light chassis gun with scope probably 15lbs . this is a sit up on a mountain and touch something MasterPiece Arms Bolt Action MPA-308 BA Rifle Specifications Caliber: .308 Winchester (7.62×51 NATO) Action: Stillers Precision TAC Series Bolt: Stillers Precision Spiral Fluted One Piece Bolt Barrel: Spencer/MPA Hand Lapped Barrel Action/Bolt Design: Remington 700 Type Chassis: MPA Tactical Aluminum Chassis Muzzle Brake: MPA Muzzle Brake (Tactical or Bench Rest Type) Timney Trigger: 510 Accuracy: * * * * * Meets and exceeds expectations. Even when running the gun hard it stays right around that 1/2 MoA guarantee, usually floating down towards 0.2 MoA when treated right.

Not enough 6.5 creedmoors... anybody have a .270 in a chassis?

Springfield M1A scout squad sitting in a Troy S.A.S.S chassis, Vortex red dot and a 3x magnifier on a swing mount. I wish i liked it as much as i should. I got a hell of a deal on it from a buddy that i couldn't pass on, i just don't care for black guns, i would rather have wood and blue, much more comfortable to carry and shoot
Go get in the woods

This can't be true...nobody actually owns and shoots a 308 anymore!

But as far as I know no one had put a Rem 700 on a stock AI rifle and bonded it. It didn't take any more money than any other stock choice. Br guys have been glueing/bonding actions for years. To remove the ai action only a little heat is needed.
