Mulie Mike is the man!

So how did it go?? Pictures? Stories?

I can't say enough good things about the hunt, it was an absolute blast! The ranch was beautiful, and easily hunted the entire group (I never saw another group except while we were at camp). Mike and the guides were great. Good food, good company, and an all around great time. Day 1 myself and another hunter chased a few ewes from a ways off, did some hiking but ended up having the first group give us the slip. Got on another group in a different part of the ranch, we were able to sneak in from behind them and started the stalk. Got close and realized that a group of hogs had pushed them up and over the hill.....Then the rodeo started. Myself and the other hunter gave it a 1....2...3 count and started dropping bacon into the side of the mountain. I think we got 4-5 hogs with bolt guns before they finally got out of there. That was the end of day one.

Day two started early and we got on a group within 20 mins of leaving camp. The other hunter with me and the guide spotted the group and we stalked up above them. He took the first shot and dropped one, our guide handed me his shooting sticks and I got one shortly after from the same group. We packed out the skulls and backstraps/hind quarters, then went back to camp for an early lunch.

After that, we were back at it to chase again. It wasn't too long and we spotted another group from the bottom of a canyon. I was able to get out and take a shot on the shooting sticks and connected at 240 yrds, way up on a hill above us with the 6.5 creedmoor suppressed. I was able to finish the hunt by 1:00 PM Saturday morning so I packed up and headed back home after that.

All in all I can't say enough good things about Mike and his crew. Our guide was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and patient with two people who had never hunted aoudad before. He helped make the hunt what it was. They put on a great hunt, the hospitality was top notch and I have zero complaints. I'll be signing up for the next one as soon as its available. Thanks again for the good time and memories Mike. I'll try and find some pics later and post them.
