Have y'all read about The Green Machine's latest product? 12 gauge Model 870 with a Detachable Magazine. Sounds good, looks good, but a big old 12 gauge magazine hanging down under the receiver doesn't appeal to me. Seems like it could hang up on anything, particularly in a high stress social situation.

Been getting the emails from them. Seems to me they've answered a need, want or problem that doesn't exist. I've been wrong before though...

Not sure the pump gun has the same appeal. Although, I kinda want the Tac-14 version just because it's a make the liberals wet their pants kind of gun.

An ingenious solution to a non-existent problem? Well, don't leave us hanging.
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

LOL, I offered the comment as a possible answer to the original comment. I don't personally see the utility of a pump shotgun with a DBM, but to each his own.

It actually makes a lot of sense in a defense weapon, you can mag-swap between buckshot, slugs, etc. in the blink of an eye. Magpul version:

looks like more bs to sell If gun owners and hunters didn't buy BS a lot of companies would go out of business. A bolt action .22LR, and bolt action .30-06, and a pump action 12Ga would cover all your hunting needs in the lower 48, the .30-06 would be a bit light on the big brown bears, but how many people really hunt them? I stopped at a little store in the country to pick up some fishing lures. Old guy at the store asked me what I was fishing for. I said Bass, he said these two lures here are all you need. I asked him why he had all that other stuff for sale then. He said These two lures are for catching fish, all that other stuff is for catching fisherman.
