Were those 3 or 5 rounds groups?

And it's a beautiful rifle! Tony built mine and it's always been a shooter!

3 shot groups. Just working up a load, those are at 200 yards.

I don't normally care for the chassis type setups, but with results like that, I could probably warm up to one. Really nice rig and great shooting!

BTW - They sell real targets at Wal Mart... bolt

That looks like a start but one 3 shot group doesn't make it a 1/4 moa shooter does it? By the looks of the others they it's around .5, still good though.

The other groups were shot with different loads, which is the whole point of "working up loads".
Knowing both shooters, I have no doubt about the rifles capabilities.

i would be interested in a target with five 5 shot groups to see what a true average would be.

Those will come soon, that wasn't the intended purpose of this. This was strictly load workup. Did not shoot for distance, groups, or dope that day. Need to 100 or so loaded up and go out to find my dope and shoot some 5 shot groups.
