Sorry Stub, but that shot down into the white pot almost looks like an after shot! A little shocking... Yep I saw something in a portapotty at Amistad last week that looked like that.  Not a pretty picture but buddy that butt uglly chili in the crock pot was so good it would make you slap jo Daddy  s Letting it sit in the fridge for two days then its pig out time

Stub the Axis Chili was great, Love having 2BEEZ as a neighbor. Have to freaking drive to Richardson to break bread with a friend.

My first batch in now simmering. I used a chuck roast and two boned turkey thighs. I'll add the tomato paste and refried beans just before I turn off the heat. I never tasted it. I will adjust the seasoning before my next meal if needed. Looks as if I will end with six quarts.

They just made a batch on Dinners and Dives. It was served over pasta. It was ugly. Remember the old days when there was a half inch of grease on the top?

Wick Fowlers with a white onion and some diced jalapenos to turn the heat up. cook the chili tomato sauce and spices separate from the meat till it tastes like you want it . Then add meat and simmer on low heat for 30 to 45 minutes.

Leave out the can of tomato's and replace with a can of Rotel with Hobanero peppers. good flavor and right amount of kick for 2 lbs of meat. Yep on the habanero rotel. If ya like a really good kick.
