Its all depends on the deer they dont have to grow up on it... i have a place i set one that iv yet to have a deer eat out of it... also set one at my home property and they started using it immediately and even this time of year eat around 150lbs a week

Fouzman, you recall how you wire it in? The manual is below, not helpful (to me anyway) and it references 24V usage when the feeder is 6v?

I used butt splices and wired it in between the timer and the motor I think, Charlie. Either that or between the battery and timer. It's hell to get old.
