Former players are calling for Tim Becks head.....i wasn't in that camp till the game last night. After the first series, which was great. My son, and I were on melt down mode with the play calling. After seeing Texas fans reaction we weren't alone. This guy is clueless when it comes to calling a game.

I don't know if installing a new offense for the fifth or sixth time in as many years is a good thing, but I don't see how the status quo can go on any longer.

Anyone following recruiting? Texas managed to sign 7 of the top 10 players in Texas. And possibly the best DB class ever. On paper at least.

Number 3 recruiting class in the nation. Don't know how Herman pulled that off after a 6-6 season.

Also, and most importantly one of the best kickers in the country.

Three day till national signing day. Looks like Herman and his staff are still recruiting their butts off. They are in contention on some of the top recruits still uncommitted, or even some commited to other schools. If I remember correctly they have 31 scholarships to give. The cupboard should be fully stocked after Wednesday. Most importantly they will have 4 scholarship quarterbacks on campus. After a couple of years of only two.

Also it's time to buy season tickets. Texas gets USC at home.

Tom Herman can sell ice to Eskimos. Pulled off top 3 class in the country after a 7 and 6 record. I know some don't believe in the following recruiting. But all national champions win in recruiting in order to win on the field, well for the most part. Most impressive was he pulled of getting 11 of the top 15 players in the state. While being 3rd in least number of offers extended.

Class size: 27 (Two 5-stars, 17 4-stars)

Biggest NSD news: Keondre Coburn flirted with Miami but stayed in the class, which added 4-star defensive end Joseph Ossai and late-rising 3-star D-tackle Moro Ojomo.

Strengths/weaknesses: If your favorite team wanted a top prospect from Texas, here's hoping your favorite team is Texas. The Longhorns signed 11 of the state's 15 best players, including three each at cornerback, receiver and safety. There are no weaknesses here, either.

Instant-impact potential: Be it Caden Sterns or BJ Foster, one of the premier safeties may be a starter in 2018. Either way, both 5-star talents should earn immediate snaps for Texas.

I know it’s hard to predict how good teams will be. But these days to be considered you have to schedule a strong out of conference game. OU has figured it out with Ohio State.

I applaud Texas for scheduling very tough competition. ND, Cal and USC aren’t gonna get the same reviews as Bama, Ohio State, Michigan.

Would like to see UT vs A&M also.
