Looks like Texas is gonna have to burn Sam Ehlinger's red shirt. I would rather them insert Jerrod Heard, and save sam. I hate the idea of throwing another true freshman into the fire.

I hear what you are saying about Sam's red shirt but he may come on like gangbusters. maybe that will motivate the other players.
Hopefully coach Herman's dose of reality last week will make a difference.

Sam fits Herman's offense better than Shane. Shane is super slow, and at times he looks like he's trying to run with skates on.

It's official, Sam is starting.

I think he did well may have held the ball too long before passing.

I know it's just sjst, but Sam looked good. He was shaky at first but settled down. He threw some into tight areas and got away with it. If he plays next week they will be picks. He got out of trouble with his legs and wasn't afraid to pull the trigger. Couple of plays he held on too long, but it didn't cost him. He also wasn't afraid to stay in the pocket and survey the field. If nothing was open he used his legs. Overall not great but a solid performance. I'm glad they finally decided to give Warren the ball. That guy is a man-child.

Any thoughts on the USC game..... I'm pretty sure that QB will have a field day with the secondary. Especially since Texas has yet to put pressure on the quarterbacks it's faced so far. Gonna be a route.

But, hey the business school was ranked 5th in the country. Always got to look for the Silver Linings.
