Look at the new Franchi catalyst, wood stock with adjustable shims for proper fit and a gunsmith can shorten your girlfriends

One other point no one has mentioned about the Franchi that I really like for a dedicated duck gun. Franchi doesn't have an action spring in the stock to worry about rusting over time like the gas guns mentioned. The action spring around the magazine tube making it easy to clean, keep dry and rust free. It is my next purchase for a dedicated duck gun.

I shoot Benelli M2 which I brought 10 years ago. It is my first shotgun. I didn't get a camo version and it is 26 inch barrel. But, love it. I mainly hunt dove, ducks and geese sometimes. M2 can do all the jobs very well. I am lefty, so not many choices for me. If I buy another one, which I am thinking this year, I will go SBE3 if they have left version or may stay on M2 with camo and 28" barrel.

So many great choices out there these days. As far as an autoloader goes, I got the Beretta A400 because it fit me. Also the length of pull and stock angle is adjustable. The gas system is impeccable and it's a soft shooter compared with the Benelli's, and I'm getting too old for bruises. Just my 2 cents worth.
The child tells what he got for Christmas, the mature man tells how he spent the day, the immature hunter tells how many birds he shot, the mature gunner tells of the experience. -George Bird Evans

Benelli Super Black Eagle III, pretty much the "do everything" shotgun. You just have to cry once when you fork over the $$$$$
