We went today and I thought so too. I came home with some sausage and a backpack. My step daughter and future SIL along with my granddaughter went today. I had a hoot of a time with my granddaughter!!!! And she had fun with Paw Paw! So for that reason alone it was well worth it!

It seemed to be smaller this year than I remember in the past. I'll most likely be back but if it gets much worse I won't be back.

I just can't get into anything TTHA does. I have bought a few of their magazines that had Kacee (BMD's girl) in them, but they just don't represent me or my kind. I care nothing about HF, South Texas, or Africa.

As for the protesters their were maybe 10, maybe only 2 had the same agenda.
was standing there talking to the two nonhunters when the police first arrived, he said they had received a call about a large protest he ask me what i thought, told him their didn't seem to much to it.

I'm sure they called the cops on themselves. Here's how this works, they call the cops and say it's big protest, that goes over the scanner the news monitors scanners and they show up and then the protestors get attention. That's exactly what they want, if you don't stop and talk, don't acknowledge they even exhaust they will leave in short time. Nothing is more defeating to someone seeking attention than to be ignored. Don't give them your time by talking to them.

I went friday. I was hoping for more hunting companies with new products. I was surprised that there were not as many deals being offered and the number of non hunting companies that were there. I didn't stay long. I love hunting HF and LF. I just think the ttha has not progressed with the industry and to me it is losing its luster.

Glad you know how it works. I like to know what people are about, what they are thinking, not much at hiding out.

It ain't about hiding it's about giving them what they want, if you want to know what they are thinking read their signs they wrote their thoughts right there on it, giving them attention is being baited just like you putting corn out for deer so they do what you want. Their bait is signs and protests to get your attention and each time they get recognition their confidence grows.

Saw some more African and bird hunts.

Interesting on the raffles. We finished a show in Jackson two weeks ago and used a blackbuck hunt for a raffle for lead capture. I thought it worked pretty well. Got a few hunts from it.

yes they were! hard to believe people were buying them. It would make some think the TTH was supporting them

I almost forgot the best part of this, I got a 40% off coupon on a pair of ariats because they didn't have my size there. The guy said here take this and order on line you'll get 40% off. That's well worth $10 admission.
