Went this past weekend and cameras were showing the same ol thing, lone boars showing up throughout the nite. Land owner (wife's grandfather) said there was a dead piglet on the road three days ago and it was about 20-30lbs. Sat on Friday night but winds was not in my favor and called it a night right before 1:00 before the storms came in. Checked the camera the next day and had two boars come in. One right as we were leaving and one at 2:00 am. Then had a sal and her piglets at 7:00am while I slept in. They had come in from the north so I knew she would be back through that evening. Sure enough 10:00pm she showed up along with the piglets, I could also hear a boar in the thicket but he would show himself. Decided to take the sal and hopefully one of the piglets in a two for one shot. We'll it worked and now the meat is in the freezer. Hopefully the other piglets will stick around the area thinking their mother is still around. Sal was around 100lbs and piglet was 20-30lbs. Sal was in front and piglet was behind her. 30-06 180gr enter low in the jaw but exited just under the ear on the other side. Then entered the piglet high on the neck just behind the ear. They both dropped piglet was dead instantly but the sal gave a few kicks then died.

Those hogs won't panhandle any more of your corn, now!

Good work.

I have two unwritten rules:
1.
2.

Let's see, 40 pigs out of a box of shells. Good shot.

Is that breakfast sausage ready?

One shot is all it should take.
