I've been living in this house for 2 years now, but have been in this neighborhood for about 6 years.
This past month, I've been seeing lots of White Winged Doves around my neighborhood. Had a few nest in the trees in my yard as well.
Aside from them taking a dump on my truck every day, Is this a good sign for the 2016 season?
I'm going to be trying out this public hunting ground in Waller county when the season opens.

My theory --------- there are always dove in town,, any town ------ less and less in 'the fields' ------ I believe that the genetics of the dove that live in town is getting to be dominant ---- they live and breed and their offspring return to town ------------ the ones in the 'field' get shot and dont breed. Just a theory.

Yeah, I've seen a few doves in town before. Except, this year there's a lot more than what I've seen, especially in the evenings.
Probably going back to the library to read up on it.
