Went hunting out of Rockport for tailing reds in skinny water yesterday and were able to scratch out a few before the storms rolled in. Storm clouds made for an excellent sunrise as well.

No, not a spey rod. I fish an 8wt for reds. Any lighter and it can be tough to push that line through the wind.
