I have both. I use phone more just because it's a lighter package in general.

when got on WMA started using the TOPO USA CD's ![scratch scratch](/forum/images/graemlins/default/kopfkratz.gif) Think around $50.00-$100.00 for all the states... Could do the scouting at home on computor, wayward points down load map...always carried pen & note pad in fanny-pac... used the blue Garmin... kept info of tracks, droppings, rubs, scrapes, sightings, & such on note pad, for later at house copy ta CD for future referances... Also when went canoeing & camping on sabine... ![flag flag](/forum/images/graemlins/default/flag.gif)

Have topo usa colorado, no roads, other than main hwys, no land ownership, no boundries. i think i will have to have the OnX my ph. has larger picture than my garmin but worried about it working in hunting area. Computer would be nice to look at some areas before the hunt

Hunting map is really neccessary. Thank all of you so much!
Bushnell X-8 is another best value trail camera ( https://hunthacks.com/best-trail-camera-reviews/ ) that also provides outstanding efficiency. Like the other models, it runs on AA batteries, and with a set of 8 batteries it can work for 9 months.
