Looking at a 1000 acre lease just north of Richland Springs, TX. Not knowing much about the area, I'm curious to know if anyone in here has or is hunting in this area. And if so, is the quality of deer good? My assumption is there will be lots of deer, just curious about antler size. based on what I've seen, hunting pressure in the area seems to be low.

Thanks in advance!

Can be good or bad. Depends on the area.

Some places get lots of pressure.

Generally there is a good number of deer lots of 120's and occasionally bigger

For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

How far north? The area should be or could be good. If I did not have a lease I would want to at least look at it.

Antler size will depend on what the neighbors shoot too. Some really good bucks killed through that area where they are able to get some age on them. Great area overall. Generally plenty of game of different species to hunt.
