You can buy a corn/soybean mix at the feed store for about $11 per 50 lbs. That's $10 per 25 lbs.

I bought a sack at academy when they had it on clearance for $6.50 a bag. The deer ate it confused2

But I agree, there are cheaper alternatives.

Feed store. Ask for creep feed 5/32 pellets at about 16% protein. It's in my protein feeder until is not. Don't take em long! Just bought 5 50# bags for 42 bucks.

Yes. It's throwable in my opinion. I threw milo in my monarch mixed with corn. It won't cost but a few bucks to find out. Dump it on the ground if it clogs.

MrWhite87, I run 8 spin cast feeders year round. I fill them 50/50 with corn and 20% protein pellets. Works great.
