Okay, I posted awhile back that I must have bumped my rifle scope against something and it messed my reticles up. I had just the common duplex reticle on my ol Banner scope. I was going to buy a whole new scope set-up, but if I could, is there a way to just repair the reticles instead of buying a whole new scope, or would it be cheaper just to trash the banner and get a whole new scope?

A Banner isn't worth fixing. And I doubt Bushnell will.

Dang, it was a hell of a scope though for being cheaper than others. I had that thing sighted perfect for my lease set-up. I know they might be crap compared to others, but think I'm a hunter on a budget and it worked fine for me.

I know well about being on a budget. I just don't think they will fix it. Bushnell is not quite up to snuff with lots of other manufacturers, yet, when it comes to repairs. I've used them twice, and it got done, but it took some effort on my part. And one scope retailed for $2k.

You can try their warranty system, but they may say they won't fix a Banner. I'm not bashing your scope, just preparing you for what might happen.

I'll probably just trash it anyways...I'm in the process of selling my old bow due to buying a new one the other day. The money I get out of my old bow will be put forth to my rifle.

You can get a new 3-9x40 for$70.00 at Midway. I have a couple of "cheap" scopes too which seem to just keep on being effective. Don't think I'd ever look to have them repaired though.
