If there a different type of sunflower that you plant to attract mourning dove vs. white wing? I was told that mourning dove prefer wild sunflowers vs. the cultivated kind because the seeds are smaller.... Any truth to that?

All I've heard is they like the black oil seeds because they crack easier.
