I'd give up. What would you cook?

What is farro?

Make a roasted farro hummus of you will slathered on the finest hoagie roll, slice the lamb thinly, garlic rabb on top of that, top with a gruyere parm cheese, then crush the cheddar filled pretzels on top.

Farro is a grain. It's pretty tasty. That is actually a pretty easy basket compared to things I have seen on that show.

I enjoy cooking and appreciate good food, but I hate most of the judges on those shows, they are ace holes. I think if they were not allowed to watch them cook their decisions would turn out differently many times.

I'd throw that basket out get a bottle out of the kitchen cooking supplies and walk out.

Yes their arrogance is amazing, I agree with you with watching them cook the food I think they psych out their taste buds.

i won't make any of those elaborate recipes they all make
on the "cooking" shows. if i can't find an ingredient after
going to 2 stores, i won't make it. simple food cooked properly
is best to me anyway. you try to put all these exotic imported
ingredients in a dish, all you're doing is making a b.f. mess IMO.
cook something properly with a clear head and you can't go wrong.

I find that you can follow a recipe with a million ingredients and just leave out the weird chit you don't already have in the spice rack and it comes out fine... I'm sure I'm going to step on some toes with this, but there are thousands of recipes that call for bay leaves... you can leave them out and tell no difference, if it makes you fell better got pick a leaf of the live oak out front and toss it in roflmao

I'd taste it, but probably wouldn't eat it. The farro is gruel.

I'm done. I need to find a new flipping channel. Tonight they had camel burgers for the first course and goat heads for the second.
