This may belong in the general discussion section and if so, mods, please move but you here in the migratory bird section are the ones that it is for.

Today my wife took me to Grapevine lake to get a Corpse waterfowl hunting permit, when we arrived, there was about 75 people already in line waiting. I am only one day out of the hospital with double knee replacement and showed up with my wife pushing me in my wheel chair. A gentlemen from the from of the line walked around to every hunter in line and spoke to them, he then approached my wife and I and told us that we had gotten a free pass to the front of the line from every other person in line.

Gentlemen, my wife and I were needless to say ever overwhelmed by such a noble act of kindness from all of you. We were willing to wait our turn in line but we are so grateful what you did for us. I pray that I will be able to return the favor to one or maybe even some of you some day in some way. This was probably one of the greatest things that has ever happened to me in my lifetime. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts, you are truly a great group of people!!!!!

To the gentleman Eric at the front of the line whom got me the pass, you are truly a kind and generous soul for having done so. May each of you have the best waterfowl hunting seasons of your lives as your reward for your kindness.

God bless you.

Sincerely,
Jimmy & Karen

Great to hear. And heal up soon. Hunting seasons just around the bend up

Hey Jimmy, I was not surprised when everyone said yes to moving you to the front of the line. As other people have said, good hunters are good people! Get better soon, it's almost teal season!
