I managed to skip out yesterday afternoon and head west. I made the rounds to check the game cameras and hand corn a few areas. With the nice weather and the high probability of evening thunderstorms, I decided to be get in position earlier than I normally would. We rarely have a lot of daylight pig activity, but this ended up being the right call as I had the first pig in the crosshairs @ 4:25pm.











I had three pigs down by sunset and decided to go stalk into two other spots. One of the spots had three pigs on it and I managed to drop two of them.





By 10pm the thunderstorms were rolling in and I didn't want to deal with all of the lightning with the storms, so I started hauling the pigs out of the area.







This was the third hunt with the Trijicon Reap-IR and it is just flat amazing. It has proven to be a real game changer. The image quality in high humidity and windy conditions is amazing.
