I pull up to a 300 acre field and turn on my thermal and there is two groups of pigs around 50 total within 400 yards. They push off as I try to stalk them so I let them walk. I look North and there is a big boar so I stalk him and kill him and my gun jams. ( I forgot to clean it after last week). So as I am checking out the dead boar another boar walks out 200 yards away and I head shot him. So I walk up and check him out and another boar walks out 800 yards west. So I stalk to 30 yards and kill him. My friend Jared is along without a gun just hanging out. We are on our knees banging on the gun as it is fully jammed and I need a hammer. I look through the thermal and another boar walks out. So we head to the car quietly which is about a mile away. I stop after a bit and a coyote comes out and stands broadside at 50 yards. We move on and get to the middle of the field and I scan through the thermal and there is pigs in five different areas of the field. Never seen anything like it, total for the shortened night was 4 adult boars. I will add pics tomorrow

And think what a night it could have been had the gun worked!

I would have been there until sunrise. I had 3 sets batteries for thermal, 100 rounds, extra batteries for flashlight. I was ready except for the gun. Headed out tonight again last night I killed one mid sized boar and watched the coyotes run. Have a new field that was cut today
