It looks like I drew a Colorado GMU 77 black powder cow elk tag. Going in July for scouting, mostly looking for a good camping & fishing spot.

Been up and down that river basin a few times!! Good luck. Pretty area

BOBO, its all pretty in Colorado. I've only hunted elk in the West Elks and Gunnison area. This will be a new area I'm just excited about the tag.

I live in 751 which borders 77. There is a lot of good ground in 77 the only problem is that anything easy to get to is very crowded. For muzzleloader I would go as high and deep as you can. If you can get a few miles from the road or trail there will be plenty of opportunity for a cow
