I'd keep a cooler with ice guy it immediately and then quarter and on ice how ever long that takes to do should be fine as long as you don't take your sweet time
|

Carried many bags of ice in a cooler. Gutted then then filled up the cavity with ice bags.

How long did it take to find it after the shot?

How did people do it before refrigeration and Yeti coolers. Before refrigeration they did not hunt in hot weather. Before there was no refrigeration there were no Axis deer here.
