I drew a cow and deer tag for second season! How do you know this already? I went on the website and it says that the lottery is still in process. Awwww, ok. The "backdoor method".....looks like a drew an archery muley tag!

Been awhile, but arent many units still OTC archery, either sex tags? What I used to get way back, of course if your focused on the one unit, then the rest don't matter.  I recall some where cow only in certain units, but I never hunted those that I recall. Elk yes, Big horn is all draw. I PP elk and mule deer. Hunt OTC elk and voucher on mule deer 10-4,,May be faster on the BH if you just go with a camera, or pony up for the guvnas raffle

You left out bullwinkle Never seen one that far south. I had a stud at 65 yards in Idaho last year though.

An old friend of mine that made better career decisions goes up to fish every year and has done the fully guided moose hunt. About 6 months ago he told me he wanted to do the DIY deal but did not know anyone that would do it. I asked about the price he said he knew two different people that set people up (one with the raft 7 day deal, the other drops you in on a float) and that all we would have to do is get up there get out tags and that's it. He is a pilot and owns a flight school so they are buddies I guess.
I said sign me up

Got my refund for deer.. Now waiting to see what shows up for Elk.... Still have gotten any!!! That is odd, also odd ,my check had "Payable to BOBO" on it  iirc, the DOW site said all refunds would be mailed by the 23rd

I would, I had a deer refund check stolen a few years ago, dont think they ever caught who ever forged my name, was a big PITA though. Wasn't even sure if it was taken from my mailbox, or miss delivered or what.

CO is going to an internet system entirely next year.
Good news: much less headache.
Bad news: probably will increase participation and decrease draw odds.
I learned long ago you can't reason someone out of something they don't reason themselves into.
