Here is a video that demonstrates Pulsar's zeroing method as verbally described by the reviewer

Pig_Popper, that is a really cool video. The problem with it is that it does not usually work that way with thermal. The Trail has the firmware for the process, but the video shown if for digital night vision where you can see things like the circular targeting pattern on a paper target and even the hole in the paper. I know the video was done for the Apex and the Apex was their first thermal rifle scope, but have you ever seen a target through thermal that gave you that sort of image? Except on rare occasion where you can see the POI on a steel target (and never on paper targets) (here is one of the rare steel occasions https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J-v-8vamG7U ), you won't be able to freeze the image and move the zeroing crosshair the visually obvious POI because there is no visually obvious POI. You can freeze the image and move it over what looks to be the correct amount, but that doesn't save you much in effort over just moving the crosshair over what you think is the correct amount anyway. One can still use the freeze function for zeroing a Pulsar thermal scope, but I don't see it as being superior than just doing it as you would normally.

What's the tripod and tripod mount he's using? Looks like a SLIK PRO 700 DX tripod plus the Alamo head unit. It's a good setup. I run/sell the same tripod but I went with the Reaper Grip.

That's how a product review video should be done. I hope someone is taking notes. Not that it will help much now. The damage has already been done.
Haha yea I polished that thing for hours.

just look at the horrible video quality compared to Anthony's video I posted. Haha you lose quality when recording the screen of a TV outdoors so you get the realtime view of the scope. At direct objects it is HD quality. I could record in 4k but that is a waste due to most computers' resolution.

I will say though I do like how the new pulsars record the whole screen including the menu options when you hit record. That is pretty nice for how to videos.
Eliminates the need to record the screen hooked up to a TV for live feed. which the glare on the screen effects video quality.
But then again to have the option to stream live in real time through the TV in HD is pretty sweet too. I know a few people that set up a small TV in their blinds haha

JT, Don't zero reticle with canting optic. The cant and bouncing and heavy breathing is very annoying.
On the opening video, that tripod setup is wicked. OP post video well done.
One shot is all it should take.

On the opening video, that tripod setup is wicked. OP post video well done. Yeah the "shooting table" that was at my lease was horrible. Flimsy and moved at slightest touch. Was a plastic picnicking table. Later videos at another shooting range which I did for the range finder were a LOT more stable. But thanks fro the commentary. This is by far the best forum as far as judgmental members, so I have come to expect it and I would actually be disappointed if I did not experience it.
